Isabela Carrari/ TV Series Review: ‘Anne with an E’ is a wonderful story about hope and resilience

The adaptation of Anne of Green Gables of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s 1908 novel is a great series to watch on Netflix. First of all, it has an amazing cast, beautiful landscapes and a wonderful story about 13-year-old Anne Shirley who is adopted by Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. Two siblings who live in Green Gables farm, in Prince Edward Island, Canada. In the beginning they were astonished to find that Anne is a girl instead of the boy they requested to help with the hard work.

Despite all the bad experiences she has suffered as an orphan, she had kept her dreams and imagination alive from the books she had read. Her enthusiasm for life wins the heart of Matthew and Marilla who decided to keep her.

In conclusion, you will love to follow the adventures of Anne while she grows up and sees how she overcomes all the bad situations in her life. It is really inspiring.
