The Invisible City series portrays Brazilian folklore in an irreverent way; the characters are presented as people of everyday life, mixing fantasy and reality in a single universe.

The feeling throughout the chapters is one of longing, recalling the stories once told by my grandmother in childhood. Each character awakens a memory and I began to remember how scared I used to feel thinking about these legends.

The plot revolves around an environmental policeman who loses his wife in a fire and wants, at any cost, to find out what has really happened. From there, a thriller develops with the appearance of the folk creatures. The main character´s conflict is very interesting, which is hard to believe what is happening before his eyes. Family relationships are also well explored during the scenes.

The main characters are Cuca, Saci, Yara, Boto Cor de Rosa, Bicho Papão and Curupira. The special effects are incredible and brings an adult aspect to our legends.

And the ending is one that you can’t even suspect for a second, that will really blow your mind and wait, as soon as possible, for the second season.
